McAllen ISD is on iTunesU!
That makes McAllen ISD one of the first school districts in the country to post curriculum on this electronic format that, until now, has always been reserved strictly for universities. One of the first series that has been posted is an award-winning conversational Spanish TV series that features McAllen ISD students, ?Platiquemos? Stories on KGBT Channel 4, KVEO Channel 23, McAllen Cable Network, The Monitor.

P.E. Dept. gets TAPHERD's State Recognition!
TAHPERD's Exemplary School Program honors school campuses that have exemplary programs in health, physical education, recreation, and/or dance. Congratulations to Coach Yolanda Morales, Coach Valerie Garza, Coach Ricardo Romeros and Coach Andrew Quintanilla for receiving the TAPHERD Exemplary School Award for the 2011-2014 school years. Only ten schools throughout the state received this award. Way to go Phys. Ed. Department!

Principal's Message
Welcome to our website! As we embark into another school year, our expectations for student success remain high. As principal of Lincoln Middle School, I am committed in ensuring that we provide an engaging learning environment which fosters academic development, personal growth, and college readiness. The Lincoln faculty shares a united vision for student success and continued improvement of effective instructional practices. Together with the support of our parents and community, our goal is to help all students reach their fullest potential. ACE 21st Century Program
Texas ACE 21st Century Community Learning Centers, afterschool centers on education. Ace offers FREE services to families of students who participate in the program. Our program offers academic support, enrichment programs, community service and homework help. Program hours are Monday-Friday from 7:00 -7:45 a.m. and 4:00-6:30 p.m., with transportation and snacks provided.
